About UMJ International NET:

UMJ International NET is an organizational network founded to encourage information and idea exchange, research and analysis, exchange of publications, and other types of cooperation, based on the need for United for a Multicultural Japan and other local and international organizations, both virtual and non-virtual, to share resources towards the accomplishment of mutual goals. It affords a means through which creative minds can invent new approaches to focus on similar regional, national and international concerns.

UMJ International NET provides an avenue for cost-effective networking among organizations in order to accomplish what each organization could not achieve alone.

UMJ International NET recognizes that today's society needs a new type of networking that relies on a small, core staff to convene collaborative efforts that help organizations achieve their missions together.

UMJ International NET focuses on four goals from which every constituent organization can benefit and towards which each member of the network can contribute:

• (1) Creating cost-effective partnerships among various organizations both in and out of Japan who are working towards shared or similar goals;
• (2) Cooperating with other organizations to gather information and work towards common goals;
• (3) Sharing ideas and experiences and exchanging publications;
• (4) Announcing meetings and activities open to non-constituent groups and individuals in order to promote more active participation and support of one another's activities.
